Our Leadership Team
Rev. Steve Stewart
Rector
Steve heads up our leadership team with a passion for Bible teaching and preaching to mature all in Christ. With a heart for growing and recognising the gifts of all within the church, Steve sees "every member ministry" as essential to growing the Kingdom of God. Steve is married to Mands and they have two daughters. He is completing a PhD looking at The Law of Moses in the Fourth Gospel and tutors in New Testament to those training for Church of England leadership ministry. He enjoys great company, food, playing music, techy stuff and a good laugh.
Rev. Mike Madden
Associate Rector
As an SSM (Self Supporting Ministry) Curate, Mike combines a career in the energy industry with serving the churches across our three villages. In addition to his engineering and business qualifications, Mike also has a Masters in Theology from the London School of Theology in 2012, and trained for ordination at St Mellitus College. Mike is particularly interested in the practical application of theology to everyday life. Mike is married with three grown up sons and one granddaughter. He enjoys travelling, eating out and watching all sports but especially cricket with family and friends.
Rev. Heather McCulloch
Curate
Heather is excited about sharing the truth of Jesus’ love with everyone and has a particular passion for young people and young adults finding their place in the world and flourishing in who God has made them to be. With a background in architecture and counselling, Heather has recently completed her BA in Theology Ministry and Mission at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. Bringing the deep truth of the Word of God to life for every day understanding, coupled with a desire to see transformation through the power of God’s Holy Spirit is what gives Heather energy! She is married to a vicar in another parish, they have three teenagers and a dog. When away from her desk Heather can be found walking in the woods, drinking tea with someone, or reading (theology and children’s fiction in equal measure!).
